It is important to know how much time you (and your employees) are spending on Client Work, and how much is being spent on Administrative, Marketing, Sales and HR. You can quickly see this using the Time by Category chart on the Analytics page.

Start by selecting a date range, and the results will populate the charts below.

The first chart will show the firm as an aggregate. This includes all employees, billable or otherwise.

The following charts will show the breakdown per employee. Note that only an administrator can see all charts. A normal user will only see their own chart.

Billable employees should have no more than 25% non-billable work, unless your billable employees also do sales work (e.g. unpaid initial consults).
